This page gives the availability and letting details for this comfortable 4 bedroom 'cottage' situated in a quiet lane between Hawkshead and Tarn Hows.

2011

The rates for 2012 are:-
£580 per week for high season
£520 per week in mid-season
£460 per week in low-season

Weekends and other short periods are available only in low season.
2 nights = £180
3 nights = £240
4 nights = £300
5 nights = £360

The rates include electricity, coal etc, and cleaning after you leave.

Change over days are usually Saturdays. Red squares indicate which nights are booked.
Exact dates for Christmas week are negotiable.

 

Please contact us by telephone on 01625 572418, or by e-mail at mcsouthern@ntlworld.com to confirm availability and make a provisional booking. If e-mailing, please let us have your name, address, and telephone number so that a booking form can be sent out. A £100 deposit is payable with your booking form (£50 for weekend bookings).

Letting Details

Black Fell Cottage is available to let throughout the year. We prefer whole weeks of letting in high and mid-season. Mid-week and weekend lets can be arranged at other times.

There is a £20 per week reduction for two or more consecutive weeks.

If you find that our cottage is booked up, please try other members of the "Cumbria and Lakeland Self Caterers' Association" at www.lakesbreaks.co.uk.

Pets are only allowed by special arrangement. Please discuss this with us before booking.

The cottage is fully equipped for holiday use, but you will need to bring your own sheets, duvet covers, pillow cases, towels and tea towels (see the accommodation page for more detail).
